The purpose of this class is for students to develop better English skills in speaking and writing. Comprehension of English passages and ideas will also be discussed. Communication skills will be establish throughout the semester. Students should leave this class feeling more confident about their conversational English abilities.

Grading is based off of attendance, in-class assignments, peer evaluations, writing assignments, and two presentations. Participation is mandatory. The grading system is sectioned by homework, in-class assignments and presentation work.
