This course will be dedicated to developing reading comprehension skills as well as organizing and expressing thoughts about topics tackled in the reading material. Particular attention will be paid to vocabulary, natural expression, linking sentences and ideas, identifying central ideas in passages, etc. Students will be encouraged to express their opinions about the topics tackled. Lesson time will be spent between using the main text suggested for the course as well as supplementary material introduced during class. (Subject to change) |
