In this course, students will look at different strategies and carry out tasks so as to facilitate organizing information and thoughts and putting them down inwriting. This will include writing in formal and informal English as well as different writing formats (email, letter, diary/blog entry, reporting, narrative, etc.,). During class,we will be referring to both the main textbook assigned and other additional material provided on the spot, for individual writing as well as collaborative writing. Generally, the first half of the class will be spent using the textbook and the second half using the additional material. |
