| 授業概要 |

| In this course, we will look at different cultural views in Japan and the world. Using the textbook, we will introduce a new topic one week, and discuss it the following week. |
| 到達目標 |
| Knowledge: Students will learn key points about foreign and Japanese culture through English. Attitude: Students will be open minded to learning about foreign cultures and ideas. Technique: Students will express their opinions using simple English. Consideration: Students will be able to identify the issues discussed in their own lives and compare them to other cultures. |

| Performance will be assessed through a combination of the following: Attendance (no more than 5 absences), in-class participation, attitude towards English use homework/projects, final presentation. Credit is determined by: Attendance and classwork: 40% Homework: 30% Final Presentation: 30% |
