| 授業概要 |

| In this class we will talk about everyday topics to strengthen students oral communication skills. Therefore, students will learn to express facts as well as their thoughts and opinions in English. |
| 到達目標 |
| Knowledge: Students should be able to use the English they have learned in junior high school and senior high school to express their thoughts orally. Attitude: Students should be willing to try to use any English they can during class and participate in pair and group discussions. Students should avoid using Japanese. Technique: Students should be able to experiment with English speech during class activities and improve their writing skills through homework assignments. Consideration: Students should view their mistakes as opportunities to learn, and be willing to try and improve their English through active participation. |

| Performance will be assessed through a combination of the following: Attendance (no more than 5 absences), in-class participation, attitude towards English use, submitting homework, an oral presentation and written test. Credit is determined by: Attendance and Classwork: 50% Homework: 20% Oral Presentation: 15% Written Test: 15% |
