This class is designed to introduce students to Business English. Using fundamental English that they have encountered before, students will build upon what they know and use this knowledge in a business context. The focus will be on building upon those foundations and allowing students to express themselves in English in a variety of business settings. Classes will be divided into lectures, workshop and practice.

Knowledge: Students should be able to identify their foundational English abilities and adapt them to a business context.
Attitude: Students should be able to think and consider different business culture practices.
Technique: Students should be able to explore and experiment with what they have learned to create their own individual expressions.
Consideration: Students should be able to see their mistakes, and be willing to try and perfect their English through active participation.

Performance will be assessed through a combination of the following: Attendance (no more than 5 absences), in-class participation, attitude towards English use, submitting homework, performance assessment and tests.
Credit is determined by:

Homework: 30%
Speaking Tests and Mini-Tests: 30%
