This class is designed to introduce students to Business English. Using fundamental English that they have encountered before, students will build upon what they know and use this knowledge in a business context. The focus will be on building upon those foundations and allowing students to express themselves in English in a variety of business settings. Classes will be divided into lectures, workshop and practice. |

Performance will be assessed through a combination of the following: Attendance (no more than 5 absences), in-class participation, attitude towards English use homework/projects, final presentation, tests. There are no re-tests. Credit is determined by: Attendance and classwork: 40% Homework: 30% Tests: 30% |
