This class will strengthen basic English and communication skills and prepare them for teaching English foreign language activities in kindergartens and elementary schools. Heavy emphasis will be placed on classroom English and everyday vocabulary. この授業には、幼稚園や小学校で外国語活動(英語)の指導に向けて学生の基礎英語とコミュニケーション能力をのばす。特に教室で使う英語表現と日常単語を重視する。 **It\'s highly recommended to take both the 1st and 2nd term class. 前期・後期両方受けることを強く勧める。 前期(英語B①)も後期(英語B②)も両方とも受けるのをお勧めします。 |
到達目標 |
1) Students will learn basic English vocabulary and phrases useful in everyday life and the classroom. 日常生活や教室で役に立つ基本英単語や文法を習う。(知識・理解) 2) Students will use the basic English learned to develop activities to introduce vocabulary and encourage English use in young children. 児童にどのように英単語を紹介するのか、どのように授業で英語を体験させるのかを学ぶ。(思考・判断) 3) Students will use English as much as possible and work in groups to contribute ideas and develop activities. できるだけ英語を使い、グループでアイデアをシェアしたりレッスンを開発したりする。(技能・表現) 4) Students will actively participate in activities in class, collaborate with other students and the teacher, and reflect on the content after class. 授業中積極的に参加し、クラスメートと先生と一緒に相談し合い、後で習った内容を自己反省する。(関心・意欲) |

Performance will be assessed through a combination of the following: attendance (no more than 5 absences), quizzes, attitude towards English use, homework/projects, presentations, and test. Office Hours: Tuesdays, Period 2. Building 25 (Media Center), 10F. On the first day, we will register for Google Classroom, so students should bring their mobile/smartphone and university e-mail address/password. Students should also download Google Apps for Education on their smartphone (at least Google Classroom, Gmail, Google Drive, and Google Docs). 初日に「グーグルクラスルーム」の登録を行いますので、自分のスマートフォンや携帯電話、そして大学が与えたメールアドレスとパスワードを持参するのが必要。初日までにグーグルのアプリ(少なくともグーグルクラスルーム、Gmail, グーグルドライブ、グーグルドキュメント)をスマートフォンにインストールをお勧めします。 Students must actively participate in class.
