This class will strengthen students\\\\\\\' basic English and communication skills and prepare them for teaching English foreign language activities in preschools and elementary schools. Heavy emphasis will be placed on classroom English and everyday vocabulary. この授業には、幼稚園や小学校で外国語活動(英語)の指導に向けて学生の基礎英語とコミュニケーション能力をのばす。特に教室で使う英語表現と日常単語を重視する。 |
到達目標 |
1) Students will learn basic English vocabulary useful in everyday life and the classroom. 2) Students will explore how to develop activities to introduce vocabulary and encourage English language use in young children. 3) Students will work together to create foreign language lessons for young children. �学生は日常生活や教室で役に立つ基本単語を習う。�学生は児童にどのように英単語を紹介するのか、どのように授業で英語を体験するのかを学ぶ。 �学生はグループで協力しながら外国語活動(英語)のレッスンを考え、作成する。 |

Performance will be assessed through a combination of the following: attendance (no more than 5 absences), in-class participation, attitude towards English use, homework/projects, final presentation. There is no re-test. 総合評価は次の項目を含める:出席(欠席は5回以下)、授業中の参加、英語を使う態度、宿題・プロジェクト、ファイナルプレゼンテーション。再試験がありません。 |

Students must actively participate in class. There will be many group projects. Please bring a dictionary (paper or electronic) and notebook to class. Some homework and projects need to be submitted by Google Classroom or other electronic means. Students should have access to a computer, cell phone, and/or smart phone, preferably one with video capability.授業中積極的に参加しなければならない。グループプロジェクトが多い。辞書(紙版か電子版)とノートを毎回持参。宿題・プロジェクトはGoogle Classroom(グーグルクラスルーム)や他のオンライン方法で提出する。パソコン、携帯、スマートフォンのアクセスが必須(出来れば録画が可能なもの)。 |
