(How you evaluate the class) Grading is based off of attendance, in class assignments, peer evaluations, writing assignments, a final group project and a midterm. If the student attends class regularly and actively participates in class, they will succeed. |

(Reference material) Students should bring a dictionary (paper or electronic) and a notebook to class. Laptops will not be needed in class. Students do need to have access to a computer, as some of the assignments need to be turned in through email. |
