| 授業概要 |

| This is an English class designed to prepare students to travel abroad. Students will be able to do things such as: talking about their hobbies, talking about their family, selecting food on an international flight, and going sighting. A variety of light and engaging activities are used along with the Passport Textbook series. |
| 到達目標 |
| This is a survival English course. Students should be able to understand enough basic English that they can function in a homestay overseas. They should end up feeling motivated enough that they can express themselves, even in simple ways, to avoid become mute in English speaking situations during a homestay. Their ability will allow them to make simple request and declarations by the end of the course. We will do enough pattern practice so that the students themselves can make simple expressions without overthinking in Japanese. |

| Grade is calculated based on the following Rubric: 34%: Presence 33%: Class Participation 33%: Homework Test: Optional *Students are free to consult teachers about their grades at any time during the semester. *Students who have low Participation or Homework Grades will be given a take home test. This test will then be used as a replacement for the low grade |
