This course consists of the following two sections: (I) pedagogical approach to English grammar and (II) simultaneous interpretation.
The pedagogically oriented approach to English grammar aims at exploring how the grammar of English works and what it is for. The information offered during the course will be pedagogically useful, since this approach provides answers to why-questions, which cover the most problematic areas of grammar for the learners of English.
The training methods for simultaneous interpretation, on the other hand, focus on the communicative skills in learning English. These methods include shadowing, slash reading, sight translation, note taking, consecutive interpretation and simultaneous interpretation.
Thus the final goal of this course will be to broaden your knowledge of the structures of English and to improve your communicative command of the English language.
