This course introduces various aspects of British culture. Each lesson will be based around a particular
aspect of British life and will include listening, reading and discussion activities.

The goal of this course is to broaden knowledge of British culture while introducing vocabulary
that is specific to British life

¡Ú1¡ÛOutline of the course, lesson format, expectations and evaluation criteria. Student introductions. Introduction to the book and activities. A text, pictures and audio will be used to introduce an aspect of British life. Following this introduction students will undertake various class based activities in pairs or groups. These activities will help to build listening and reading comprehension and well as develop communication skills. Students will periodically be set homework activities in the form of a short essay or presentation. ¡¡
