The focus of this course is to develop the skills necessary for taking the TOEIC listening and reading parts of the tests. Activities done in class will be mainly reading comprehension and listening comprehension also including ETS question-based tests. We will also focus on vocabulary building and there will be homework assignments such as learning vocabulary lists and testing oneself with quizzes. As much as possible, vocabulary will be clarified and placed in context.

Skills targeted in this course are grammar as well as vocabulary, familiarization with the TOEIC test format, sharpening listening comprehension and reading comprehension skills, and time-management.
