This class is designed to address issues and problems students have encountered previously in their English class. Using a simple text¡¡with everyday English, as well as additional resources, students will identify and practice points they may not understand and be provided an opportunity to practice and self correct their mistakes.
ÅþãÌÜɸ
Knowledge: Students should be able to identify their foundational English abilities as well as areas of difficulty for them.
Attitude: Students should gain an interest in English and confidence in their communication abilities.
Technique: Students should be able to use simple English and techniques to express themselves.
Consideration: Students should be able to identify their mistakes and be willing to try and improve their English through active participation.

Performance will be assessed through a combination of the following: Attendance (no more than 5 absences), in-class participation, attitude towards English use, submitting homework, performance assessments and tests.

Credit is determined by:
Attendance and classwork: 40%
Homework: 30%
Speaking Tests and Mini-Tests: 30%
