In this class, students will review grammar points they know to practice situational tasks. Students will practice using English they know to speak and write about different topics.

Knowledge: Students should be able to use basic English to discuss various topics.
Attitude: Students should be willing to use any English they can during class activities.
Technique: Students should be able to experiment with English speech during class activities and improve their writing skills through homework assignments.
Consideration: Students should view their mistakes as opportunities to learn, and be willing to try and improve their English through active participation.

Performance will be assessed through a combination of the following: Attendance (no more than 5 absences), in-class participation, attitude towards English use, submitting homework, performance assessment and tests.
Credit is determined by:
Attendance and classwork: 45%
Homework: 35%
Writing and Speaking Tests: 20%
