This course is designed for students to practice their English for pharmacy work. The course involves textbook work, as well as simulated practices. Classes will alternate between textbook work, where they can improve their general skills and learn pharmacy related vocabulary, and practice sessions, where students will receive commentary and corrections on their performance.
ÅþãÌÜɸ
Knowledge: Students will learn vocabulary and phrases necessary for their occupation in pharmacies and hospitals.
Attitude: Students will actively participate in activities and experiment with various conversations and situations related to their field in order to practice and strengthen their English competency.
Technique: Students will ask and convey information, as well as identify problems in the scenario and deal with them through English.
Consideration: Students should be able to see their mistakes, and be willing to try and perfect their English through active participation.

Performance will be assessed through a combination of the following: Attendance (no more than 5 absences), in-class participation, attitude towards English use, submitting homework, performance assessment and tests.

Credit is determined by:
Attendance and classwork: 40%
Homework: 30%
Speaking Tests and Writing Tests: 30%
