This course is designed to provide a space for cultural discussion. With textbook work to introduce the topic one week, and discussion the following week, different cultural ideas will be explored every fortnight.

Performance will be assessed through a combination of the following: Attendance (no more than 5 absences), in-class participation, attitude towards English use homework/projects, final presentation, tests. There are no re-tests.

Credit is determined by:
Attendance and classwork: 40%
