On completion of this course the students should be able to easily understand and convey messages and opinions on various subjects. They would also be able to deal with most situations likely to arise whilst travelling in an area where the language is spoken and enter unprepared into conversation on topics that are familiar, of per-sonal interest or pertinent to everyday life (e.g. fam-ily, hobbies, work, travel and current events). |
